ABOUT

After a decade playing guitar with the metalcore band Stampin’ Ground, Scott Atkins founded GRINDSTONE STUDIO in 2005, dedicated to producing metal, hardcore, and rock music.

Located in Suffolk, England, the studio has earned a solid reputation in the modern metal scene, producing albums worldwide for acclaimed record labels including Nuclear Blast, Earache, Prosthetic, Napalm and Metal Blade.

Clients include Cradle Of Filth, Sylosis, Vader, Samsas Traum, Benediction, Elvenking, Venom Prison, South Of Salem, Amon Amarth, Behemoth and many others.

Alongside his own ongoing projects, Scott has also worked alongside renowned producers such as Andy Sneap and Colin Richardson.

The goal is to help bands reach their full potential and fulfil their artistic vision with world class production. The studio is available for full production, recording, mixing and mastering.
